Dr. Claire Guinez (pronounced Ghee-Nay) was born and raised in Paris, France.
After moving to the USA for her undergraduate studies at Princeton University, she attended the Washington State University College of Veterinary Medicine to achieve her dream of becoming a veterinarian. While Dr. Guinez loves all animals, she has a special interest in feline medicine and behavior. She moved to California in 2018 to escape the Pacific Northwest weather and now lives in Los Angeles with her husband Michael, their cat Pierre, and their boisterous puppy Lucy.
Dr. Guinez is a member of the American Veterinary Medical Association, the Southern California Veterinary Medical Association, and the American Association of Feline Practitioners. In her free time Dr. Guinez loves to swim, read, travel, and spend quality time with her family.
